One animal. One need. Paid.

Every animal we help gets something concrete, with a name and an address: the exam, the cage, the ride. And we pay for it directly.

Why we exist

The rescue is the beginning. Protection is the rest of the work.

A rescue almost always starts with a phone call: a dog left behind after an eviction, a litter of kittens under a porch, a shelter without a single free space.

Hawk Foundation exists so the people who take those calls have money, supplies and a plan behind them. We pay for what changes what happens next: a vet fund keeps a treatable injury from ending in euthanasia, foster support opens up a spare room, and transport moves an animal from an overcrowded shelter to a place where families are already waiting.

And then we do it again.

Three stages

The order in which a rescue unfolds.

First the cage and blanket. Then the vet. Then the journey to a family. One program for every stage.

Shelters & Foster Homes

We buy what shelters run out of first: cages, blankets, food and cleaning supplies. We also support foster homes financially, so a spare room can take in a dog for a few weeks.

Vet Fund

When an animal arrives with a broken leg, a skin infection or a bill the shelter can't carry, the fund pays the clinic directly. Spaying, neutering, vaccines and dental care count too.

Transport & Adoption

Volunteer drivers bring at-risk dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters to regions with open spaces and waiting families. At adoption events, animals meet people who can take them home that same day.

After the call

A request comes in. Here's what happens.

We keep the process short, so help arrives while it still matters for the animal.

  1. 01

    We listen to the request

Shelters, rescue groups and foster homes tell us what they need and for which animal. We ask for photos, a cost estimate and a timeline.

  2. 02

We pay for the specific need

We pay the clinic, buy the supplies or book the transport ourselves. The money goes into the need, not into a general account.

  3. 03

    Follow-up and report

Every case is tracked: whether the animal recovered, found a foster home or was adopted. We publish what it cost and what we'd do differently.

Items & Care

Something for you. Care for them.

Choose a tier and an item comes with it. No sizes: relaxed unisex fit, adjustable cap, everything else fits everyone.

Every support tier combines a contribution with an item. All prices in US dollars, including applicable taxes, plus shipping. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Hawk Foundation is a brand of Hawk Foundation, operated by the Hawk Foundation, a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation registered in the US state of New Mexico. Purchases and contributions are not tax-deductible; no donation receipts are issued.

A free morning, a spare room, or five dollars.

A driver with a free weekend gets animals out of overcrowded shelters. A spare room and patience make a foster home. The money pays the clinic. Tell us what you can give this month, and we'll give it the name of an animal.
